Round Two
We built this house for them, completing it in 1990; 24 years later they called us to remodel the master bathroom. They wanted to replace the tub with a shower and upgrade the fixtures. We did exactly what they asked and more. It’s actually nearly twice as large as the original bathroom.
Small Remodel…BIG IMPACT
They just wanted to replace the tub with a shower and we were happy to do so. However, they only had a 24″ wide door and no enough room for a curbless shower. They agreed to let us move the side bathroom wall over just 14″, to the edge of the bedroom window. It created sufficient space for the curbless shower plus room to install a 32″ wide bathroom door.
Lori’s Beautiful Bathroom
This bathroom won an Aurora Award for best bathroom. The Auroras Awards, which cover 12 states, are presented annually. There are numerous categories and the winners are chosen from entries submitted from the entire region.
The finished bathroom is a collaboration of our creative design work, a photo of a vanity she provided, selections of color and styles she made and a team of dedicated and very experienced craftsmen. Most clients want a comfortable, functional bathroom with a pleasant appearance; this client wanted all that and a certain stunning elegance, which I think she achieved.
European Bathroom
This European professional couple purchased a contemporary home, which had many features they liked, but not the strangely designed bathroom and closet. We included the ‘Before’ and ‘After’ plans to explain exactly what changed. I’ve never seen so many doors in such a confined area, nor can we explain the original design with two vanities, one on each side of a door. However, with teamwork beginning with the European view the Owners provided, and our team of expert craftsman, the Owners are now delighted with their bathroom and closet areas.
I want a beautiful accessible bathroom
A 20+ year old bathroom with an unused jetted tub, small shower, tight door and high curb isn’t designed for living there during future retirement. It’s an exceptional family who plans for the future, regardless of what it may bring, this is rare couple who did that while still working.

The small closet area was incorporated into the space for the shower and toilet, creating a spacious master bathing area. The bathroom remodel was part of a whole house renovation project. And just like this bathroom, everything this client selected is beautiful.

This bathroom was created in an area which had been an adjacent bedroom. It was part of a master suite remodel project where the existing bathroom was simply abandoned and the original master bedroom, the adjacent bedroom and the original bathroom were combined into a spacious master suite with walk in closet, bedroom and master bath. Carpenters Construction took the Owners vision then designed and built the project she envisioned.
